It’s going to be sweet!
That’s the promise we made ourselves when planning the 2026 Amazing Airdrie Women Awards Gala. It’s our 16th year and why not treat ourselves to the ultimate Sweet 16 party?
But before we get ahead of ourselves, we need to introduce you to the 77 women in fifteen categories who are gracing our spring issue 2026 pages with their personal stories of inspiration. Ranging in age from 15 to 81, you will walk away with a new appreciation of what women can accomplish, dream of and aspire to.
The decision is based on 40% of reader voting and 60% of editorial, sponsor, and past recipient voting. So, we encourage you to read about each woman featured (see below) and then go to cast your vote in each category using the button at the bottom of this page.
Our 15 recipients are announced the evening of the gala on April 25, 2026 at Bert Church Theatre.
