Imagine golden sands stretching as far as the eye can see, turquoise waves kissing the shore, and a warm breeze playfully tousling your hair as you sip on a refreshing beverage… BGC Airdrie wants to make the vacation of your dreams a reality!
The non-profit organization is holding a raffle to support their programs and services, and you can win a roundtrip flight for two to any regularly scheduled WestJet destination.
“Not only are you getting an incredible vacation, but you are also supporting a vital organization in our community,” says Kathy Ritcher, executive assistant and manager of events for BGC Airdrie.
“You’re not just planning an epic trip — you’re making a difference!”
London Drugs has also generously donated a three-piece luggage set, wellness hand sanitizer and wellness first aid kit, valued at $1,000, to further sweeten the pot.
The best part? All the money raised goes towards programs and services for children, youth and their families in Airdrie and Irricana.
Since 1979, BGC Airdrie Club (formerly Airdrie Boys’ & Girls’ Club) has been a safe and fun space, providing high-quality affordable programs and services that are accessible to all children, youth and families of Airdrie and surrounding areas. With two main locations in Airdrie, a club in Irricana, and before- and after-school programs at three participating Airdrie schools, the BGC Airdrie Club has grown to extend their reach throughout the community.
Tickets for the Jet-Set for Two: Your Dream Destination Awaits! raffle can be purchased by visiting bgcairdrie.com. The winner of the raffle will be announced at 1 pm on June 16.
Spring Markets
The springtime excitement doesn’t stop there. BGC Airdrie will also be hosting spring markets on April 26 and 27 and May 3 and 4 from 10 am to 3 pm at 200 East Lake Crescent.
“This is a fun way to spend a beautiful spring weekend shopping for yourself or picking out a gift just in time for Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day!” says Ritcher.
The market will include between 25 and 30 vendors that sell homemade crafts, jewelry, deserts and much more.
“Table rentals and admission support the programs, services and resources we provide to the children, youth, and their families in our amazing community,” says Ritcher.
Entry fee for the markets is $2 and those under 12 years old are free. Each vendor donates a door prize, so with each paid admission, you will receive a ticket and could win awesome products and services.
