Veronica Funk studied Art & Design and is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and the Alberta Society of Artists. Her work has been exhibited across North America and is found in private and corporate collections worldwide, including a First Nations Reserve in Northern Ontario and personal collection of Landon Pearson (Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson’s daughter-in-law). She is the recipient of several awards including the Federation of Canadian Artists Tinyan Chan Award and Fortis Airdrie Mayor’s Night Professional Artist Award. Inspired by people, urban and natural environments, she layers symbols, imagery and vibrant colour to create her visual stories.
