Knights of Columbus are Catholic laymen focused on charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism, providing mutual aid, supporting the Church, and serving communities through programs like Coats for Kids, food drives, refugee aid, Basketball Free Throw Contest for youth and supporting Catholic education, all the while offering members financial benefits and a way to live out their faith in action. Locally the Knights of Columbus support 35 Charities through their annual Airdrie Dream Vacation Raffle.
In March 2025 the Council continued their 40 Cans for Lent program and gave the equivalent of $38000 to the Airdire Food Bank.The 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus conducted a veterans Food Bank drive and this year gave over 700 pounds of food and close to $5000 the the Veterans Food bank.
The Knights operate as a fraternal service organization, helping families through insurance and volunteering for good works.
