The Chamber of Commerce and City of Airdrie are inviting local business owners with questions regarding the Alberta Government’s COVID-19 Relaunch Strategy to take part in a virtual Q&A session that will include all three levels of government.

The event is described as a virtual opportunity for Airdrie businesses to connect with federal, provincial and municipal government representatives and the Alberta Chambers of Commerce to ask questions about COVID-19 business resources.

“This is your opportunity to speak directly with all levels of government and the president/CEO of the Alberta Chambers of Commerce,” said Marilyne Aalhus, executive director of the Airdrie Chamber of Commerce.

“With the recent provincial relaunch, there will be several questions on when each stage will open. This is a forum to ask those important questions.”
The event is hosted by the Airdrie Chamber of Commerce and City of Airdrie Economic Development department and will take place on May 7 from 4 to 5:30 pm.
The guests at the event will include:

  • Blake Richards, Member of Parliament Banff-Airdrie
  • Angela Pitt, MLA for Airdrie-East
  • Peter Guthrie, MLA Airdrie-Cochrane
  • Peter Brown, Mayor City of Airdrie
  • Ken Kolby, Alberta Chamber of Commerce President and C.E.O.

Business owners are asked to submit their questions when registering to attend the event. In addition, the call will be opened up to participants to ask live questions during the session.

The event will be recorded and can be viewed after. The link will be available to the public on the event page by the following day.
