They are AWESOME!
Last week, we honoured our awesome Airdrie kids at Woodside Senior Club with a fun pizza party for nearly 150, including our awesome award recipients plus their families. It was a full house this year as we had a record 35 Awesome Airdrie Kids.
We celebrated with some fun, games, welcomed the wonder of magic from Ryan Jade, enjoyed sweet treats from Crumbl and finished the evening off with our certificate presentation.
As always, a HUGE thank you goes out to our AAK program sponsors: Superior Hearing Solutions, Blessingways Family Wellness, Volunteer Airdrie and Graphnix. Along with Vitreous Glass for donating $50 to the charity of each child’s choice as part of their Pay-It-Forward program.
Meeting these kids and learning their stories is one of the highlights of our year here at airdrielife. We are always impressed with the thoughtfulness, politeness and community spirit exemplified by this group of young Airdronians.
Our future truly is in good hands.
