A local organization with a goal of supporting and enhancing women’s social health recently moved into a permanent space in an Airdrie hotel.

Former St. Martin de Porres High School grad and current Simon Fraser University student Avry Krywolt is the 2023 recipient of the $1,000 Anne Beaty Memorial Scholarship from airdrielife magazine.

When an Airdrie mother was dealing with the devastation to her family brought on by her daughter's addiction to fentanyl, she felt completely alone so she created a addictions family member support group to help others in similar situations.
