The annual Halloween Fundraiser event held October 27 at Iron Horse Park was a huge success once again this year.

Pictured above are two Iron Horse Park members presenting a cheque to the Airdrie Food Bank. This represents the contributions in both cash from train trip ticket sales as well as weight of food donated on the Annual Halloween run fundraiser event. We counted 903 riders that day. The actual ticket sale and cash donation was $1,216.75.

Along with the cash donation, 837 lbs of food was collected and ready for pickup, valued by the food bank at $3,046.68.
This was the third fundraising event for the food bank they hosted this year at Iron Horse Park. The total contribution including the other two fundraisers was $7,433.19.
A big thank you goes to citizens of Airdrie (and visitors from outside of Airdrie) who attended this event with their contributions.
