1. Share one specific personal or professional accomplishment that you believe qualifies you to represent Airdrie residents on Airdrie City Council.

My professional experience as a lawyer is one of my strongest suits that qualifies me to represent Airdrie residents on Airdrie City Council. I have found that this not only equips me with the ability and skillset to listen, engage, and advocate, but my years of experience reviewing legislation, providing evidence-led advocacy, and holding institutions accountable, positions me well to serve as a grassroots advocate for Airdrie residents at council.

2. What are your top three priorities and why?

My vision for Airdrie is to make Airdrie SO SAFE:

S – Safer Neighbourhoods

O – Optimal Healthcare Advocacy

S – Support for Seniors and every Demographic

A – Affordable Housing

F – Fostering Infrastructural Growth and Development

E – Equity and Inclusive Representation

If I should pick three top priorities of the six, it will be Safer Neighborhoods, Affordable Housing, and Fostering Infrastructural Development (including relentless advocacy for a hospital), because my team and I have engaged at more than 20,000 doors and spoken to over 60 percent of Airdrie residents, and these three issues sit at the top of residents’ concerns.
