1.  What has been your biggest revelation about serving Airdrie?

My biggest revelation has been just how deeply people care about this city. Serving on Council has given me an even greater appreciation for the voices, experiences, and everyday realities of Airdrie residents. It has reinforced for me that leadership is not simply about making decisions, it is about listening, being accessible, and turning what you hear into meaningful action.

2.  What do you see as your biggest success to date?

One of my proudest moments has been seeing healthcare advocacy move from a campaign promise to tangible progress for Airdrie. Having advocated for better healthcare access because I know personally what it means when timely care is not available, seeing the commitment toward a public community healthcare centre and future hospital has been incredibly meaningful. It reminds me that persistent advocacy can move conversations that once seemed impossible.

3.  What do you feel is your biggest challenge moving into the next year?

My biggest challenge will be balancing the many competing needs of a rapidly growing and unique city like Airdrie while ensuring that no one feels left behind. We have really big days ahead of us as a city. Whether it is critical infrastructure, healthcare, safety, or support for seniors, youth, and vulnerable residents, the needs are significant. My focus will continue to be listening, advocating strongly, and working collaboratively to ensure Airdrie grows not just bigger, but better and more inclusively.
