1. Share one specific personal or professional accomplishment that you believe qualifies you to represent Airdrie residents.

One accomplishment I’m especially proud of is the work I’ve done to move major community priorities forward through collaboration, advocacy, and persistence. Whether it’s pushing for below-market housing action or the millions we advocated for through Airdrie Housing Limited, or shaping infrastructure decisions like the new Inspire building or accessible playgrounds, I’ve shown that I don’t just talk about issues. I build relationships, dig into the details, and work until we see real progress for Airdrie residents. In my day job I deliver results. Public office should be no different.

2. What are your top three priorities and why?

Better Growth and Economy: Airdrie’s tax base is heavily residential, which puts too much of the burden on homeowners. We need a stronger focus on commercial and industrial development to create local jobs, support small businesses, and keep property taxes manageable. A balanced economy is the foundation for a stronger city. While others talk about wanting to do this, I have a strategy ready to go, one that is collaborative and realistic, with tools and people at the ready to make it happen.

Better Living and Health: Access to healthcare, recreation, and essential services has not kept pace with our rapid growth. I want to make sure families can access doctors, clinics, and community spaces right here at home. Building a city that supports people’s health and quality of life will always be a top priority. I know the strategies required and see the best practices achieved that we can leverage. Some are scared to rock the boat, but in four years on council I’ve never been shy to ask for more.

Better Transit and Transportation: We need a transportation network that makes sense for how people in Airdrie actually live and work. That means improving local transit so people can move around the city more easily and advocating for better regional connections so commuting is less stressful and more efficient. I’ve proven my dedication to this through motions brought to the council table, sitting on relevant boards that can move the needle here, and building relationships that actually matter to getting this achieved. It’s not what I promise to explore, it’s what I’ve already started to create a real foundation.
