Mark your calendars for this Saturday, September 7th, as Airdrie’s signature event, airdrieFEST, returns from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. along Main Street.
This free, family-friendly festival is the perfect way to celebrate the community, offering something for all ages to enjoy.
Entertainment Galore
Main Street will be alive with entertainment, from buskers and balloon twisting to a petting zoo and a mobile escape room.
This year, be sure to catch the new street performances by Flyin’ Bob, a master juggler and self-proclaimed “professional silly person,” and Pancho Libre, a high-energy circus performer.
Young attendees, aged 8-16, can join the Historic Airdrie Scavenger Hunt, a fun way to explore the city’s rich history. The Airdrie Festival of Lights will also be offering train rides for all to enjoy.
The entertainment stage will feature a packed lineup, including cultural performances, local musicians, and demonstrations from Airdrie Puppy Pals and Nose Creek Players.

Savour the Flavours
Indulge in the tastes of Airdrie at the “Taste of Airdrie” section, where local bakers and culinary artisans, like Atlas Brewing, Sweet Applebox Treats, and Gong Cha Airdrie, will offer delicious sweet and savoury treats.
A variety of food trucks will also be on hand to satisfy every craving.
Shop Local
Explore over 40 local vendors showcasing handcrafted goods, from knitting to paintings, in the Lutheran Church parking lot. It’s a great opportunity to support local artisans and find unique treasures.
Getting There
With over 7,000 attendees expected, the City recommends walking, biking, or ridesharing, as parking downtown is limited.
Alternatively, parking is available at Jensen Park/Plainsmen Arena or Fletcher Park, with a yellow school bus shuttle running every 15-20 minutes from Nose Creek Regional Park, AE Bowers School, and Muriel Clayton School.
