A Love triangle between a French actress, a Princess, and the Count of Saxony. This opera contains everything you want, including the real-life romance between Adriana Lecouvreur (soprano Kathleen Morrison) and Maurizio (tenor Ernesto Ramirez), her rivalry with the Princess de Bouillon (mezzo-soprano Alicia Woynarski), and Adriana’s unexpected and mysterious death. Love, resentment, infidelity, murder, and glorious music … it doesn’t get more “opera-plot” than that!
