Summer 2026

Excel Homes has enhanced its standard home specifications, providing buyers with luxurious upgrades at no extra cost.

The award-winning homebuilder is building duplex, laned and front-garage homes in Cobblestone Creek, located in southwest Airdrie. These homes will include upgrades such as triple-pane windows, upgraded kitchens with extended islands, and ensuites with larger soaker tubs.

“We’re building our reputation by crafting even better homes in 2026,” says senior marketing manager Kristina Plank. “These homes have been designed with growing families in mind. There’s room to grow and space for everyone. With flexible floor plans and preplanned options, you can pick the home and the options that work best for your family.”

Duplexes start in the mid-$500,000 price range, with laned homes starting in the high $500,000s and front-garage homes in the low $700,000s. Buyers can move into a quick-possession home or choose to build, with a six- to eight-month time frame.

The latest show home, the Mason II, features three bedrooms, a main-floor flex room, fully upgraded kitchen, a full-height fireplace feature and a cozy bonus room on the second floor.

“To complete the second floor, is a luxurious primary suite with a walk-through closet that conveniently leads into the laundry room, two additional bedrooms and another bathroom with dual sinks,” says Plank.

Buyers also have the option to turn the main-floor flex room into a bedroom, extend the kitchen or develop the basement.

“The basement offers additional living space for guests or family with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a wet bar and a convenient exterior side entrance,” says Plank. “You can make it your dream home. Our team will guide you every step of the way.”

Cobblestone Creek is a family-friendly community offering picturesque views, several green spaces and parks, and newly erected pickleball, tennis and basketball courts.

“Nestled into a quiet corner of Airdrie, residents find their sanctuary in a community designed for peaceful living,” says Plank. “It’s the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors while being close to town.”

Excel Homes is the second largest Built Green Certified homebuilder in Canada and has built more than 7,000 energy-efficient homes. This provides homeowners with the option to benefit from a healthier environment and reduced utility bills, while also conserving resources and contributing to a greener world.

“Our mission is simple: to create a homebuying experience that delivers the most joy and value to our homeowners,” says Plank. “More than 35 years of experience has helped develop a refined homebuying experience that values your time, simplifies the big decisions and minimizes any stress that can come with building a new home.”
