The last time we featured local singer/songwriter Christian Hudson, he was fresh off the release of his debut single, Four Leaf Clover, and had just won the once-famed Calgary Stampede Talent Search contest where he gave away his $10,000 prize to the Calgary Drop-In Centre live on the stage.

I was born in Didsbury, Alta., the middle child of three, and raised on a farm east of town. I credit my rural upbringing to my active imagination and my love of books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Being a rural child, it was common to see my nose pressed into a book to and from school.
