An Airdrie Treasure

Wendy Jean Hunter’s love affair with cooking began when she was about eight years old, living with her family in Saskatchewan. Currently, Hunter runs a cooking company providing meals for friends and is also an ambassador for the Epicure food company.

Tia Wildeman is both excited and nervous to begin dancing professionally in Vancouver. She will perform all over Canada and the United States with The Source Dance Company.

As Sept. 15 approaches, the Airdrie community eagerly anticipates the return of the Empty Bowls Festival after four years.
