airdrieFEST

airdrieFEST showcases a wide variety of local vendors, artisans and organizations. Visitors can stroll through rows of booths featuring handmade goods, local services, community groups and sports organizations. For many residents, the festival is a chance to discover new local businesses, sign up for community programs or learn about volunteer opportunities.
“airdrieFEST is really about creating space for the community to connect,” says Kendal Masson, event co-ordinator from the City of Airdrie Event Services team. “It’s exciting to see local businesses, community groups and residents all coming together in one place to celebrate everything that makes Airdrie unique.”
The festival offers something for everyone. A diverse lineup of food vendors and food trucks will give attendees the opportunity to enjoy a variety of local flavours while exploring the event.
Families can enjoy interactive activities and entertainment, while live performances throughout the festival help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere. As the event attracts large crowds, residents are to plan ahead and consider walking, biking or carpooling when possible. Free parking with shuttle service will be available from Muriel Clayton School, A.E. Bowers School and Nose Creek Regional Park. There will also be a shuttle pick up/drop off location at Braces+ (across from Safeway at Tower Lane Mall). Shuttle Service runs every 10–15 minutes, traffic permitting.
