My only goal when creating work is escapeism. I want my viewers to feel like they are walking into a cinematic alternate world, where characters get to live in a world of romance and beauty. I take elements of our reality, like castles, waterfalls, and blooming fields, and elevate them into a world of profound imagery. I have paintings that lean soft and feminine, but I also create work that emotes dark mood, mysterious surroundings, and fierce storytelling ability. I vehemently believe that we have drifted too far from the days when art was revered and appreciated by the masses, and I work to return to that.
