Crystal Roach once lived and breathed cancer. She gave up her entire life to focus on her oldest special-needs son, who was diagnosed with leukemia at age seven. Countless appointments, meetings with doctors, chemo treatments, tears and heartbreak were her life.
At just 16 years old, Marie Johnson has a vision for what she wants her life to look like. The Grade 11 student at W.H. Croxford High School envisions herself pursuing a career in paediatrics and physiotherapy — specifically working with children who face difficult challenges.
