Parkour may sound like, well, a walk in the park. But as you watch these modern-day superhero-like athletes defying gravity, vaulting over obstacles, concrete barriers and other three dimensional objects, this isn't a casual afternoon stroll.

Nose Creek Elementary School exudes warmth with a giant "Welcome" greeting visitors. The school, located in Airdrie, is experiencing rapid growth, serving 660 students with more than 35 home languages. Amidst the challenges posed by the pandemic, the school sought to foster community and connection.

When the first person kicked an oversized rock across a frozen pond and saw it crashing into another stone with a satisfying clunk, curling was born.
