Recognize, Celebrate and Support Business Success in the region!
In October, over 200 community members came together to celebrate the Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce 27th Annual Airdrie Regional Business Awards Gala presented by EllisDon. 45 finalists were recognized as the region’s best businesses, and it truly was an evening of celebration and support for our business community.
The Emerging Business Award, sponsored by Airdrie Music Lessons, is presented to a new and promising business that has been in operation for less than two years and is already demonstrating early success, innovation, and a strong connection to the community. They show potential for long-term growth, a clear vision, and a commitment to contributing positively to the local economy and community culture. This award celebrates businesses that are not only achieving early milestones but are also laying the foundation to become future leaders within the region. This year’s recipient is The Sage Mustang.

The Community Attraction Award, sponsored by Servus Credit Union, is presented to a business that has been operating for a minimum of two years and plays a significant role in attracting both visitors and residents to engage with the community. It celebrates businesses that help make the area a more vibrant and appealing place to live, work, visit, and play by enhancing the community’s profile through their presence, events, services, or reputation. This year’s recipient is Apple Creek Golf Course.

The Community Spirit Award, sponsored by Vitreous Glass, is presented to a registered non-profit organization that has been operating for a minimum of two years and consistently demonstrates an exceptional commitment to serving and uplifting the community. Through impactful programming, resources, services, and support, the organization contributes meaningfully to the social well-being and quality of life in the region. They exemplify core values such as collaboration, compassion, impact, and community leadership. The year’s recipient is the Airdrie Health Foundation.

The Employer Excellence Business Award, sponsored by Fortis Alberta, is presented to a business that goes above and beyond for their employees and provides the best overall place to work. The company values their employees’ development and retention on the same level that it values productivity and business growth. It places high levels of importance on corporate culture and a happy and healthy work environment for their staff. This year’s recipient is Blue Grass Nursery, Sod & Garden Centre.

The Exemplary Service Award, sponsored by Cam Clark Ford Airdrie, is presented to a business that has been operating for at least two years and consistently delivers an exceptional customer service experience. The recipient demonstrates a strong commitment to service excellence through one or more impactful customer service initiatives, policies, or practices. They go beyond standard expectations to create positive, memorable, and customer-focused interactions. This year’s recipient is Funky Petals Airdrie.

The Greatest Impact Award, sponsored by MNP, is presented to a business that has been operating for at least two years and has made a significant and lasting impact on the community. The recipient demonstrates an exceptional commitment to philanthropy, volunteerism, and community betterment. Nominees should show leadership in giving back—whether through charitable initiatives, community partnerships, employee volunteerism, sponsorships, or advocacy—helping to make the community a better place to live, work, and do business. This year’s recipient is The Hair Lounge.

The Innovation Award, sponsored by Melcor, is presented to a business that has been operating for a minimum of two years, and demonstrates exceptional innovation and forward-thinking leadership in its products, services, or operational processes. The recipient will have introduced transformative ideas, technologies, or approaches that improve efficiency, solve industry challenges, create new opportunities, or enhance the customer or community experience. This year’s recipient is Hexagon Psychology.

The Legacy Business Award, sponsored by McKee Homes, is presented to a business that is independently owned and operated, has been operating in the Airdrie region for at least 10 years, has shown sustained growth and contributions to local employment. This business has invested in the community and sees community investment as a core part of the company’s values. This year’s recipient is Airdrie Alarm & Surveillance.

The Business of the Year Award, sponsored by Airdrie Economic Development, is presented to a business that has been operating for a minimum of five years and exemplifies excellence, leadership, and sustained success, while making significant contributions to both the local economy and the broader community. This year’s recipient is The Pest Control Guy INC.

The Hugh Hamilton Business Leader Award, sponsored by Airdrie Registry, is presented to an individual who has been operating a business for at least three years and has demonstrated exceptional leadership, business acumen, philanthropy, and commitment to the Airdrie regional business community. This year’s recipient is Blake Clark, Cam Clark Ford.

The Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce was honoured to host the 27th Annual Airdrie Regional Business Awards, celebrating the outstanding entrepreneurs, innovators, and community builders who make our region thrive.
