1. Share one specific personal or professional accomplishment that you believe qualifies you to represent Airdrie residents.

Starting a business right before Covid, making it grow and thrive and getting through it all with our business and most importantly my family intact.

2. What are your top three priorities and why?

To not raise property taxes – The past leadership was supposed to help lower the cost of living and help the families of Airdrie. All they have done is raise taxes and user fees across the board.

Slow Residential growth – Building of schools is a provincial matter, but city growth is ours. We currently have schools in both school boards at every grade bursting at the seams. Girl volleyball tryouts at two junior high schools had 70 to 80 girls attend. Another school lost its library and music room due to the need for class space. We need to give the province time to build these schools, not add more fuel to the fire. Example: the newly approved east side development with approximately 750 new homes. Where will the children go to school until the area’s new schools are built?

To make City Hall and its elected officials more transparent and open to the voters of Airdrie – A lot of people have told me they don’t feel heard and that City Hall doesn’t listen to the people. I promise that any citizen can call, email, text me during the election and if I win, while mayor, and I will respond and listen to them within 24 to 48 hours if not right away or sooner.
