This National Volunteer Week, weโ€™re celebrating the life-changing magic that happens when one person chooses to show up.

When Jaiden, a Mรฉtis singer/songwriter from Calgary, first met her mentor Emma, she was a shy, uncertain eight-year-old. With Emmaโ€™s encouragement, Jaiden discovered her voice โ€” in the studio, on stage, and in the world.

Today, Jaiden is a university graduate and a future teacher, carrying with her the confidence and creativity that mentorship unlocked.
