Looking for a job in Airdrie? Look no further than the Airdrie Regional Job Fair on March 19 from 3 to 6pm at Genesis Place Fieldhouse.
This in-person event offers an opportunity to connect with actively hiring employers from various industries. Bring your resume, engage with recruiters, and explore exciting career opportunities.
Hosted as a partnership between the Airdrie Regional Chamber, the Boys & Girls Club of Airdrie (BGC), and Prospect Human Services, attendees will have the opportunity to meet multiple employers looking to fill a variety of roles.
“Attending the job fair gives job seekers a chance to meet face-to-face with employers, learn about different organizations, practice networking skills, and explore a wide range of job opportunities in one convenient location,” says Erin Fenton, workforce advisor with Prospect Human Services.
“It’s not just about finding a job—it’s about making connections, asking questions, and gaining insights that can help guide your career journey. Employers are actively hiring, so it’s a valuable chance to make a positive first impression and take the next step toward finding employment.”
With over 35 employers representing sectors like hospitality, retail, healthcare, trades, and more, there’s something for everyone. There will be full-time, part-time, and seasonal job openings and attendees can gain valuable insights and tips from recruiters at the event.
“This year, we’re excited to once again offer opportunities for youth under 18 to kickstart their careers,” says Fenton.
“Whether you’re 16 or 65, looking for full-time positions, part-time roles, or exploring new career opportunities, this event is the perfect place to connect with local employers.”
Prospect Human Services is a not-for-profit and registered charity that helps people get jobs. Prospect helps job seekers with everything from skill upgrading to direct job placement. The organization has been hosting job fairs in Airdrie for 12 years.
“We’re proud to be a part of the community’s ever-changing landscape, and these events reflect our shared commitment to connecting job seekers with inclusive employment opportunities,” says Fenton.
She adds that the event will feature a 5-Minute Resume Review Table, where job seekers can receive quick, personalized feedback on their resumes from friendly career advisors.
“Our career advisors are approachable and ready to help individuals fine-tune their resumes, boosting their confidence before they connect with employers.”
There is no registration fee for the job fair—just bring your resume and your best first impression!
“We recommend that job seekers bring multiple copies of their resume, a list of references, and a positive attitude,” says Fenton.
“It’s also helpful to prepare a short elevator-pitch about yourself and any questions you’d like to ask potential employers. Don’t forget to dress as you would for an interview—first impressions count.”
