Driving forward

“Play is a fundamental human right that is denied by many children, youth and adults who live with disabilities due to inaccessible play spaces.” This is the philosophy that has driven the development of Airdrie’s first inclusive playground.

June is Pride Month in Airdrie and our Pride community celebrates who they are while facing obstacles and challenges to simply live their best life. We are pleased to share the experiences and thoughts of three members of the Airdrie Pride community.

The Airdrie Public Library’s (APL) 8th annual Voice & Vision Collaboration (VVC) paired local artists and writers together to create pieces inspired by each other’s work.
