Harder Homes: Built for the way you live

Kristy Reimer was given the task last summer of visiting three lovely yards gardened by members of the Airdrie Horticultural Society, and got a few words of advice along the way. 

If someone told you that your backyard could include more than 55 acres of parkland, two kilometres of pathways, three playgrounds, a skate park, a splash park, tennis courts, a tobogganing hill, beach volleyball courts and eight baseball diamonds, would you believe them?

There’s nothing quite like bringing a fresh Christmas tree into your home, filling it with the scent of pine and holiday spirit. But, to keep it looking beautiful throughout the season, a little extra care is needed.
