In this free, in-person session, guest speaker Shanna Shepherd, Director at the @childrensgriefca, will guide us through how grief shows up in children and teens — and how caring adults can recognize it, respond with empathy, and create safe, supportive environments at home, at school, and beyond.

Kim Hill has worked the majority of her public health nurse career in Airdrie, starting in the 1990s. Even at 63 years old, Hill continues to be passionate in her work, supporting schools, young families in child wellness clinics, and doing home visits with health information.

Paige Cairns doesn’t want anyone to feel left out. It’s part of the reason she created Boo at the Creek more than nine years ago. The popular event has free admission with a simple donation to the Airdrie Food Bank.
