Michelle Thompson is inspiring confidence in young girls through the sport of rugby. The physical education and English teacher at W.H. Croxford coaches the girls’ rugby team. Her hope is to inspire young athletes to work together and build lasting friendships.

Bitz has been volunteering in Airdrie for more than 30 years and has donated her time to a long list of organizations including: Festival of Lights, Special Olympics, Summer Games, Airdrie Food Bank and the Airdrie Health Foundation.
