Lisa Tschritter knows a great art project when she sees one. So, when the Bert Church High School art teacher stumbled across the work of Calgary-based artist Scott Clark at a festival booth last year it was a ‘no-brainer’ that she connect with him to collaborate with students on a major artwork.

Filipinos everywhere know that food brings people together. And it’s no different here in Airdrie – where the Filipino community and culture continue to grow.

WOW! We really grew this feature for 2024 and no wonder, since Airdrie is just filled with awesome kids. (Did you know that, since we started six years ago, our total tally is 140 Awesome Kids?)
