Airdrie’s female midget elite AA team forms a sisterhood on the ice and off. Airdrie’s midget AA female hockey players are proving to be strong contenders in their second season.

How awesome is this? Every year since 2018, we have asked the community to tell us about kids ages six to 14 who inspire others — at school, on teams, and with their peers and families. It’s obvious there is no shortage of awesome kids in our city, as evidenced by the 28 young people in 2025.

Each fall, in our Arts issue, we love to showcase local grads who are choosing to pursue the arts. Here are eight great grads that will no doubt be entertaining and inspiring us for years to come!
