Here’s just a small sample of wisdom I’ve learned from living with a dog: a short-term memory leads to instant forgiveness; live in the moment and take pleasure in the modest treats life offers; even if life is tugging at your leash you can still sniff the grass; enjoy every meal like it was your last; and there’s nothing a good nap can’t solve.
