On February 17, 2020, John Langeneau got the call that’s every parent’s worst nightmare – his 19-year-old son, Kalix, wasn’t coming home. Though the first hours and days were difficult, the family stood strong, with John and his wife, Betina Fillion, making the decision to honour Kalix’s memory.

A local group has come together once again to raise money for charities: 100 Kids Who Care Airdrie encourages kids to earn a little bit of money to collectively donate to a charity of their choosing.
