DESCRIPTION:Get Ready to Light Up The Night with Us!\nThe Airdrie Festival of Lights is thrilled to announce the FortisAlberta Light Up The Night celebration on Friday\, December 1\, 2023\, at Nose Creek Regional Park\, starting at 5:30 p.m.\nJoin us for a magical evening where we’ll create that enchanting scene you’ve seen in all your favourite Christmas movies!\nHere’s what you can expect: – The gigantic “switch” that ignites the Community Tree lights. – A wave of magic that “lights up” the entire park\, display by display.\nBut that’s not all! We’re working with Airdrie Professional Firefighters to revive an old Airdrie tradition – the Candy Cane Run! They’ll be giving out sweet treats to everyone attending\, bringing back memories of the good old days.\nFortisAlberta will also be serving FREE Hot dogs to guests\, while supplies last.\nThe Airdrie Festival of Lights is a cherished tradition\, and this year’s Light Up The Night will elevate that tradition while honouring an old one. This is an event we’re committed to continuing every year.\nDon’t miss out on this magical kickoff to the holiday season! Mark your calendars and join us for a night to remember.

That way\, we’ll be all ready for all our dedicated volunteers starting bright and early on Saturday\, November 25th.\n\nDid you know it takes roughly 1\,500 hours of volunteer time to set up just so we can open on December 1st? That works out to approximately 375 hours per weekend?\n\nBring your family\, your friends\, your neighbours. Whether you can attend every day\, one day\, or even just a few hours\, it all adds up to a GLOWing experience!\n\nWe do require every volunteer to complete a 2023 Volunteer Application Form. To help speed along the process\, you can visit our website here; <https://airdrielights.com/about/volunteer-info/>.\n\nWe’ve made it even easier now\, as forms are fillable directly on our website.
