Join us\, as Santa makes a stop at Genesis Place and takes to the ice for a free public skating event! Families are encouraged to bring their camera and pause for pictures with Santa on the ice. \nMonday\, Dec. 23\, from 1 – 5 p.m.Genesis Place arenas800 East Lake Boulevard NE\, AirdrieFree \n\nKeep the holiday festivities going after Skate with Santa and jump on the gingerbread bus for a Christmas light tour hosted by Airdrie Transit. The gingerbread bus departs from the Genesis Place arenas entrance\, and loading begins 15-minutes before departure. \nMonday\, Dec. 23 \nThree tour timeslots: 6 p.m.\, 7 p.m. & 8 p.m. \nFree – but registration is required through your myAIRDRIE account at airdrie.ca/santaskate. \nWe recommend bringing your own skates as they are required for on-ice participation. Public skating safety guidelines apply. Canadian Standards Association (CSA) helmets are highly recommended for all skaters. Helmets must be worn by all on-ice participants aged 12 and under. CSA approved skate aids are permitted. Hockey sticks and pucks are not permitted.
