2026 AAW Photo Schedule

Hello Amazing Women!

First you had (or are having) your interview and next we need to schedule all of you for your professional photo session!

Please note there are THREE dates given with 10 minute slots between 11 am and 7 pm each day.

The date options are Dec 3 and 4, 2025 and Jan 12, 2026.

Please pick AT LEAST THREE options to help us make it easy to fit everyone in. (we’d love to get as many as possible done in December hint hint :-))

What do I wear?

You can wear what you are most comfortable in – avoid logos and ballcaps and don’t worry about shoes as we are focusing on a headshot!

 

Is there someone to do my hair and makeup?

We wish! We are not Vogue magazine and do not have the budget sadly. My best advice is keep your make up natural. Our photographer does an awesome job with everyone!

 

What is the process?

Try and arrive 10 min before your time and proceed into Kristy’s home studio.  Her studio is down the stairs. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes. We will try a bunch of poses to capture you in the most flattering light. Relax, smile and laugh!

 

Where is the photo studio?

Kristy Reimer Photography is located at 1764 Baywater Road. Come to the front door and walk in. Leave your shoes at the door please!

Can I bring my friends?

Please do not bring extra people with you – the studio space is small and in a private home. (A parent of under 18 nominees are welcome).

 

Can I get my photo?

We do not release the images before publication. Once the magazine comes out (first week of March 2025) you will be able to have your image for personal use and of course share your online feature on your social media.

 

How is the voting done?

We share everyone’s story with our readers and they are encouraged to choose the stories that inspire them the most. This counts for 40% of the final decision. The other 60% is decided by our previous recipients, sponsors and the airdrielife team. Voting is done online at airdrielife.com.  The votes are compiled and the recipients are announced at the gala.

 

Do I get a free ticket to the gala?

You will receive ONE complimentary ticket to the awards gala April 25. This is YOUR ticket to the event. Tickets for guests will go on sale in March.
