Known and sought after for their close proximity to some of Canada’s best ski hills, each lodge offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a delicious selection of après-ski food and drink options. For guests who have spent the day conquering the slopes, there is no better feeling than kicking off those heavy ski boots and sitting around one of the roaring lodge fireplaces with friends and family.
Each lodge offers the savory Rocky Mountain Charcuterie Platter that features a number of CRMR Game Ranch selections. Smoked buffalo, prosciutto and elk salami are just a few of the delicious selections, all alongside fresh cranberry relish and mustard melons. In addition to a range of delicious menu items, guests can also enjoy a long list of award-winning wines and a variety of unique hot and cold cocktail creations. Visitors from around the world have enjoyed this après-ski experience, with one blogger noting that it will rank as “one of the coziest ski experiences of your life”.
Banff is a popular destination for local and international visitors alike, who flock to the area for the world-renowned hiking, skiing and wildlife. Buffalo Mountain Lodge is the secret gem of the area, offering everything a visitor pictures when imagining a stay in a pristine National Park-comfortable, accommodation with fireplaces to cozy up to, uniquely ‘mountain’ style architecture including post and beam construction and high open ceilings, and delicious hearty meals made up of dishes that can’t be found back home. A stay at Buffalo Mountain Lodge will be savoured for years to come.
Deer Lodge is just minutes away from world famous Lake Louise. The lodge is a testament to a bygone era, and retains much of its’ original hand hewn log structure and décor. Built in 1923 as a teahouse, the lodge officially opened as a hotel in 1925. Deer Lodge was completely renovated, restored and winterized in 1985. It is beloved by international and local guests for its unique rustic mountain accommodation.
Emerald Lake Lodge truly is an escape from the ordinary. Nestled on the shores of the impeccably turquoise Emerald Lake, surrounded by towering mountains, infused with the silence that can only come when cell phones have no reception, televisions are not in the rooms, and cars are not permitted to drive on property – this is a destination that could be considered paradise. Just 20 minutes west of Lake Louise, in Yoho National Park, the lodge was originally built in 1902 and was renovated, restored and winterized in 1986. The original main lodge is still in use as our check in area, games room, lounge and restaurant, while newer, chalet-style guest accommodation was added in the 1986 renovation.
